About Me

Tried to write this in third person but I just stopped before starting anything, weird narrator voice came up in my head :)

Hello there,

My name is Naomi Hyacintha. I was born on 20 May 1991 in Blantyre, Malawi and I live in Blantyre - Malawi. I am currently working as a Tours Consultant at Jambo Africa Ltd (Hello Africa) but I'm also a student, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a friend, a chef at home and a book worm.

I have a passion for reading and writing, I just write whatever tickles my fancy. Anime, Comedy and Animation will have me glued to the screen for hours. Throw in a little Chowder and you have a couch potato.

Cooking is a favourite past time. I have big dreams - aspiring Interior Designer and I know I will do it :) Ferrrero Rocher is my weakness and to travel and see as many places as possible is something I greatly desire.

Have you tried Southern Fried Chicken? God bless whoever came up with that.

xoxo

The Boyfriend List

I was going through a journal of mine when I came across something I wrote some few years ago. I had titled it "My Boyfriend List" and when I read through it, I laughed at some of the things I wrote but some of things, well, I'd still maintain. I think everyone has their own list of someone they would like to be with. Whether you take the time to write it down or it's just there in your head, but you still have it. Here goes mine: Christian. Non negotiable. Tall. Or at least my height Someone who respects me Smart. I like brainy guys. Like very brainy guys #Nerds. Something about nerds... Funny. I want someone who can crack me up, who has a sense of humor. Employed / Looking for a job. Hardworking He needs to like children. Someone who dresses well. Thank you. Eats well. I understand some diseases are hereditary but to actually go looking for them is just plain ridiculous. Someone who takes care of himself. Personal hygiene. Someone who understands sarca...

When Your Friends Won't Get Over Your Ex

We all have been through bad relationships and bad break ups. Some of which seem to hurt forever. You spend your days (and long nights) thinking of what could have been. You will give anything to get back together with them. When people tell you "It's gonna be alright.." it makes it even worse because well, it just doesn't seem real. You think you will never get over that person but then a few months (sometimes years. Yes I know) later you're smirking at your old delusional self....thinking what could have possibly gotten over me to say such unimaginable things?! We eventually do get them out of our system but sometimes, our friends don't get over them. You have that one friend or two that will call you whenever she runs into your ex and will give you a very detailed encounter - one that you could really do without. Friends most times let us know whenever they run into our exes but as time goes by all that information just gets fazed out - th...
